Vacant Homestead

Vacant Homestead  (from the series: Tranistional Seam)

I just noticed that I have passed the 5,000 views mark of my blog since its inception over 5 months ago.  I know that some blog sites may get that many views in a week or even a day, but it’s still an amazing number for me;- )

I want to thank you all for your many comments and support. I think that is as good as any reason to start Happy Hour!

Best regards, Doug

  1. Congratulations, Doug, on passing the 5,000 mark. I, for one, hope that getting that many views in only 5 months will encourage you to continue with the blog. The commentary on the progress of your book, as well as the revealing thoughts on creating a series or project, are informative and thought-provoking. Thanks for sharing so much with your readers.

  2. Even if other sites get 5000 hits a day, an hour or a minute, there’s still something nice about seeing those numbers count up.

  4. Good going. There are tons and tons of photoblogs out there. I’ve just recently gone over the 30,000 hit mark after about 22 months. I probably had barely over 1000 at the 5 month mark.
