I find it interesting as well that Walker Evans and Freidlander are included, but not Robert Frank and the more contemporary Stephen Shore.

Looks like a pretty good selection – covers a range of styles, processes and periods. My known/unknown list is pretty similar.

Notable absences: Ansel (probably due to ubiquity), Frank, Shore.

Oh, and that’s Lee Friedlander, not Less.
